Merry Christmas

It’s Christmas Day which this year just so happened to land on a Monday. Finally!…on a weekday (though the worst one of them all)

Anyway, it’s Christmas Day and I am at home, alone

 and listening to Wham!’s “Last Christmas” for the 14th time in a row. I’m a masochist and enjoy listening to sad/bittersweet songs. What can I say?

“Last Christmas I gave you my heart, but the very next day, you gave it away. Thisyear, to save me from tears, I’ll give it to someone special.”

I spent some $$$ on gifts for people I care about and I just feel so grateful to God, the Universe and Everything that I am able to do so. Gift-giving is the most selfish act disguised as a selfless act. I spend my hard-earned money on gifts for others but get so much pleasure out of giving them away. I suppose it’s the best and most perfect example of a “win-win”
